Acceptable Use Policy for Disk/Storage I/O Usage

Different VPS packages come with varying Acceptable Use Policies (AUP) and limitations.
Below are the expected specifications based on the VPS package you choose:

Promotional VPS plans are not subject to the standard disk I/O specifications. These plans may offer lower read and write performance compared to regular VPS packages.

 

Why We Apply Disk I/O Limits

Disk I/O (input/output operations per second) is a shared resource on the host node. To maintain consistent performance and overall stability, we apply reasonable I/O limits to each VPS.

In a shared environment, workloads that generate very high disk activity - such as large database operations, backups, or intensive file processing, can consume a disproportionate amount of disk resources. Without limits, this can lead to increased latency and reduced performance for other VPS instances on the same node.
